Becoming a publisher
Request the role that lets you create and deploy apps.
Every account has one system role.
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Open apps shared with them |
| Publisher | Everything a viewer can, plus create, deploy and own apps |
| Administrator | Run the install |
New accounts are usually viewers.
Request it
Section titled “Request it”- Open Your account → Overview.
- Select Request publisher access. Your administrators are notified.
- Once approved, sign out and back in to use it.
While it is pending you can Withdraw request.
What changes
Section titled “What changes”You get the New app button and can own apps. You do not get access to anyone else’s app — sharing is per app. See Asking for access.
Administrators are appointed directly; this request never makes you one.
